Beckmead School Research

The school is a 'Special Educational Needs (SEN)' school 'for pupils aged 11 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.' This means that some of the children have behavioral issues however a lot of the bad behavior probably derives from other things such as a reaction to emotional or mental issues.

There are only 192 students at the school which means that the children are able to get the attention that they need and are not overwhelmed by a mass of disruptive children.
